We’re always looking for pet-lovers who believe they can offer top quality care to our clients and their pets.

Is that you? If so, please fill out the Walk & Wag employment form below.

Please be advised that this is a contract (freelance) role. We’re looking for team members who can make a minimum of a one-year commitment and who will be available to work over the summer and some holidays, including either Thanksgiving week or over Christmas. If you’re not familiar with freelance work, please read this TurboTax resource.

Ideally, we’re looking for candidates with some experience with dog walking and other pet care besides personal pets (such as pet sitting for clients, friends, and neighbors, volunteering with animals, or working with animals in some capacity). Helpful details to include in your application are years of experience in pet sitting/animal care, types of pets you’ve cared for, your experience walking different sizes, ages, and breeds of dogs, including large-breed dogs, and anything else you can share!

Our service area is Chapel Hill-Carrboro, NC, and this role could require driving from your home a few times per day as we schedule pet care in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Please provide as many details as possible about your availability.
