A Chapel Hill native, Dana has always been an animal lover. She grew up with two cats and three rescue dogs, and in middle school, she even started her own pet sitting business for clients in her neighborhood. During high school, she volunteered at the The Goathouse Refuge & Sanctuary, and when she travels, she always seeks out the local cat cafe.

While earning a degree in interpersonal communication and cultural anthropology at UNC, Dana also spent time volunteering at the Orange County Animal Shelter with her service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. After graduating, she moved to Dublin, Ireland to complete her Master’s degree in marketing at Trinity College Business School.

Now back in Chapel Hill, Dana enjoys spending time with her 12-year-old golden retriever and two new rescue cats, exploring the outdoors, hiking, cooking, and learning about fashion.
