A recently retired HUD apartment building manager, Lynda is taking full advantage of her newly found freedom! She enjoys walking her Labradoodle, Ruby, hanging out with her two cats, Bonnie and Clyde, and running. While out on runs, she’s in the company of friends or mentoring new runners. And in 2018, she ran her first marathon – and she swears her last – vowing to stick to shorter races.

Lynda loves knitting to relax and has acquired quite the collection of knitting yarn. She belongs to the Chapel Hill Service League, is a docent at the Ackland Art Museum, and enjoys square dancing and round dancing with her husband. Plus, though she’s originally from Wales and lived in England, Lynda and her husband are UNC basketball fans and work as ushers. Go Heels!
