Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Mykey grew up with all kinds of pets – dogs and cats, farm animals like chickens and ducks, and a beloved pet rabbit she had for 10 years. At a young age, she learned the importance of providing the best possible care to all living things, including people, pets, and plants.

Mykey moved to the Triangle to study sociology at UNC-Chapel Hill, and as a recent graduate, she has worked as a researcher, therapeutic assistant, and of course, pet sitter!

In her free time, she enjoys exploring local trails, dancing, crafts, and cozying up at home with her partner and their two kitties – Kody, a spotted brown tabby, and Kleo the tuxedo cat.
