Emily grew up in the Triangle surrounded by cats, dogs, cows, hamsters, and a lovable rooster named Sparky. After graduating from UNC Charlotte in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, she embarked on a career supporting progressive political campaigns, moving around the country with her wonderful cat Cheerio.

During downtime between campaigns, Emily walked dogs in her Carrboro neighborhood for a local pet sitting company. In 2019, she returned to the area permanently and has continued working while providing pet care for friends, family, and clients.

Emily’s passions include woodworking, gardening, art, and (of course) the animals in her life, including her big kitty, Tickle. She loves being part of the Walk & Wag team, spending time with the stars of the show – your pets!
