Izzy’s love for animals knows no limits. It started at age four with her first Siamese kitten, India. Throughout her life, she’s had cats, dogs, turtles, and fish, and while volunteering at an animal shelter, she grew to love donkeys just as much.

Izzy attended college in Maryland, where she grew up, and then lived off and on in Nome, Alaska for several years. In February 2022, after spending eight years in Washington state, she moved to Chapel Hill. For the last six years, Izzy has worked as a frontend developer, building websites and apps. Now, she’s very excited to be pursuing a career as a travel agent while caring for adorable pets.

When she’s not playing with her foster kittens and her cats or doing yard work accompanied by her three-legged Chocolate Lab, Stevie, you can find Izzy traveling, cooking, or reading a book – preferably on the beach.
