Eleanor
Eleanor has been in Chapel Hill for over ten years and has created a beautiful life here with her two teenage sons, both currently attending Chapel Hill High School. After enjoying the serene life of a stay-at-home mom and substitute teacher, she recently embarked on a new career as a restaurant owner.
She and her business partner/brother co-run Bombolo in Chapel Hill and have found great success, with the restaurant being named North Carolina’s Restaurant of the Year by Eater. Eleanor is the (self-taught) pastry cook and wine buyer for the restaurant.
In addition to her sons, Eleanor shares her home with two beloved Basset Hounds who she’s raised since they were puppies. When not caring for kids or pets, Eleanor enjoys working in her flower and herb gardens, reading as much as she can, and studying Italian.
