Jackson
Jackson relocated to Chapel Hill after completing his BA in Psychology at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
While earning his degree, he studied cognition and behavior in both humans and animals and worked in the school’s Vivarium, or animal center, caring for the rats. Here, he discovered he was particularly captivated by animal psychology – he even learned to use classic Pavlovian techniques on the rats. During this time, he also volunteered with the student-run volunteer group F&M Unleashed, raising money for local animal charities and shelters.
A natural caregiver, Jackson was often in charge of babysitting his four younger siblings, and now he enjoys taking care of his two loving cats, Bodhi and Misty. In addition to pets, his passions include watching and playing sports, catching up with friends, and traveling. Someday, he hopes to visit all 50 states and likely a few countries, too.
