Jen wears many hats for Walk & Wag – in addition to caring for pets, she screens and interviews candidates who apply to work on the team. She also manages the website and social media, posting your pet’s photos and videos on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

Jen studied English and creative writing at North Carolina State and works as a full-time freelancer with a focus on career services, content development, and PR. She’s worked in a variety of industries, but her ‘pet’ projects are always ones related to, well, pets. For these, she draws inspiration from research and SPCA volunteering – and from living with her own rambunctious cats.
