Born and raised in Massachusetts, Laura made her way to Pennsylvania in 2010 before her need for warmer weather brought her south to Raleigh in 2019.

Laura’s love for animals began early in life when she acquired her first pets, a pair of lovebirds, which quickly expanded to include a cat, a dog, turtles, and a rabbit. Over the years, Laura’s dedication to the welfare of pets was evident as she ensured animals in need in her community received proper care, including providing pet owners with the specific food, medications, and supplies necessary to support their beloved animals.

After years of being the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, she joined the Walk & Wag team as a Pet Care Scheduler. When not pampering her dog of 13 years or spoiling her two nephews, you can find Laura at farmers’ markets or enjoying a local hiking trail.
