A true animal lover, Mary Ann has had pets since childhood. Growing up, she had dogs, cats, rabbits, and even multiple reptiles. 

After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill, Mary Ann enjoyed a long career as a physical education teacher in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro and Durham public schools. After retiring, she decided to take on a new career challenge and got her real estate license. 

She now lives in Chapel Hill with her husband and three lovable pooches and is also the proud parent of four millennial humans, living near and far! When not showing houses or walking dogs, Mary Ann likes going for long forest walks, gardening, and boating. She has also enjoyed volunteering for Orange County Animal Shelter and the UNC Paws program.
