Megan grew up in the Triangle with dogs, guinea pigs, bunnies, and even a chinchilla – as you can tell, she’s always loved animals! After working at museums and walking dogs in New York City, Megan has moved back to Carrboro to pursue a graduate degree at UNC. She is proud to be a double Tar Heel as she also attended UNC for her undergraduate studies in German and Global Studies. 

Megan has two kitties of her own, a 10-year old Siamese named Niko and an 8-year old Russian Blue named Louie Bubbles. When not caring for pets, she loves watching movies, working on art projects, and spending time with friends and family, including her family’s dog, Colby Jack.
