Natalia recently moved to North Carolina from Connecticut, and so far, she’s loving the warmer weather, which is perfect for taking long walks.

After completing a Veterinary Assistant program and working at a 24-hour animal hospital for a short time, Natalia decided it was time for a change and relocated to Carrboro. While in school, she gained additional experience as a Kennel Assistant where she cared for and groomed dogs and horses. Before that, she was an assistant zookeeper and helped prepare meals for wolves, anteaters, turkey vultures, and owls.

As a self-described morning person, Natalia prefers to jump-start her day as soon as she wakes up. Her favorite early-morning activity is a walk with her German Shepherd/Lab mix named Roxy.
