Pam has loved animals for as long as she can remember. Her father was in the military, and during her childhood in Germany, whenever he took her to the Post Exchange to pick out a toy, she went directly to the books and chose one about dogs.

Her family relocated to Texas where she attended Sul Ross State University, minoring in Range Animal Science. She later got her bachelor’s from Albertus Magnus College in New Haven and moved  to Chapel Hill 12 years ago where she works in the aerospace industry.

During her lifetime, Pam has had 19 dogs, and right now, she shares her home with five. In addition to her love for dogs, Pam enjoys taking long hikes around Jordan Lake and keeping fit through strength training and HIIT workouts.
