Since arriving from England in the Fall of 1980 as a UNC Freshman, Chapel Hill has become Robert’s adopted hometown. Now married to fellow UNC alum, Jane, he has two boys, one a recent Carolina alum and one currently attending UNC – a true Tar Heel family!

For more than 35 years, Robert has owned and loved many dogs, most recently, his two rescue hounds, Brighton and Hezky, who his wife and boys claim he loves more than them! With Robert’s passion for pets, he has become his neighborhood pet care service. He is also a substitute teacher and coach for the UNC squash team.
