Sarah is a Chapel Hill native who has shared her home with pets of all kinds her whole life. She has a genuine love for animals, and from a young age, she always jumped at the chance to petsit for friends and neighbors.

After earning her master’s degree from the Department of Romance Studies at UNC Chapel Hill, she’s now working as a Spanish and Creative Writing teacher at McDougle Middle School in Chapel Hill.

Sarah has a rescue pitbull, two cats, many chickens, and two pigs. When she’s not hanging out with her animal friends, you can usually find her cooking or playing bass in one of several local bands.
