Animal Services of Orange County

If you’d like to adopt, call 919-942-7387 to make an appointment. 

Donation drop-offs are temporarily suspended at the shelter facility. Here’s how you can help:

  • Have donations delivered (via online resources like Amazon, Chewy, etc.)
  • Donate money online or mail a check
  • Go to orangecountync.gov/364/Donations for more info and to access the shelter’s Amazon wish list

The shelter is not currently accepting licensing payments in person. You may:

  • Pay online
  • Mail a check
  • Leave a check in the dropbox outside the front entrance

Rescuing and sheltering animals for adoption is just part of the good they do for our community. They also enforce State and County animal laws (including cruelty laws, nuisance cases and dangerous wildlife).  Plus, they manage licensing and offer low-cost rabies clinics, spay/neuter programs and other invaluable services.
