Walk & Wag team member Robert was recently featured in a segment on Spectrum News 1 to showcase his experience working for a pet care service company that provides a livable wage.

Reporter Jatrissa Wooten went along with Robert on his walks and chatted about his role as a dog walker and pet sitter for Walk & Wag. The segment contrasts Robert’s experience working for an Orange County Living Wage certified employer with the fact that the N.C. General Assembly has not raised the minimum wage above $7.25 an hour in 15 years.
